Eltima Software's SyncMate Expert 2.5 (US $40) is syncing software that can sync a variety of data with Macs and Windows Mobiles and Google Android devices, as well as with Windows PCs and other devices. It is also the only solution that can sync email between Macs and Windows Mobile devices.
Macs running SyncMate can also sync with another Mac, a Nokia Series 40 phone, a Sony Playstation Portable (PSP), and with a USB flash drive. Users can sync with all of these devices and computers simultaneously, via USB cable, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth, depending on what the device supports.
SyncMate comes in a free version that can sync with Address Book and iCal, and with Entourage contacts and calendars. It can also copy SMS messages to the Mac, where a user can read and search through them. The Expert edition includes more syncing features, particularly for Windows Mobile devices. SyncMate Expert can sync Safari bookmarks with Windows browsers on PCs and some handheld devices, convert the video AVI, MPG, MP4, WMV, ASF, and 3GP formats. The Expert edition performs one-way syncing of email messages from the Mac OS X Mail application to Windows Mobile devices. And while the free version of SyncMate lets you view SMS message on your Mac, the Expert edition lets you send messages from a Mac, as well as search them.
SyncMate Expert also provides a search field for calls history, as well as the ability to view incoming, outgoing, or missed calls from the Mac. SyncMate Expert also syncs music, photos, and movies, with iTunes and iPhoto or to a folder. There's also syncing of Mail notes, and even stickies. Users can also install Windows Mobile applications from the Mac with a drag-and-drop of a CAB file.
Version 2.5 added an autosync option that enables users to set various automatic sync options for any of supported devices when the device is available. It also added the ability to sync iTunes video and iPhoto among multiple Macs.
