Hi all. I am new to parallels. I loaded parallels and windows 7 onto my 2010 21" imac without any problems. Programs and operating systems seem to work well. The problem is that whenever my mac goes into sleep mode it will not wake up or restart any other way than by disconnecting the power-then reconnecting and pushing the "on" button on the back. I updated all of apple's software prior to install and parallel"s after the install. I can shut down my computer and restart normally. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Is this with Parallels running, or does it also happen when Parallels is not running?

It will lock up with or without parallels running when it goes into sleep mode.

I have reset the power settings so that the computer will not go into sleep mode and all is well for now.
