I have encountered an issue with the shared workbook feature in Microsoft Excel 2008 on Mac OS X 10.7.2. Shared workbooks are .XLSX files stored on any network volume. Open as Read Only is not working and I encounter the following error: "Excel cannot open this file. The file might have been damaged or modified from its original format." Issue does not occurr for shared workbooks that are in the older .XLS format. |
