Thanks, John, for posting the news about our new offering in the previous thread. I thought your forum visitors would be interested in some more information.

Centrify Express is a free solution for joining Macs to an Active Directory domain, enabling users to log in using Windows credentials. In Windows-centric enterprises, this provides corporate IT a way to centrally manage user IDs with Windows administration tools and yet permit users to choose to work on Macs if they so wish. It's free to use and the license never expires.

We also released another free tool, Centrify DirectManage Express, which you can use to centrally discover Macs (and Linux and UNIX systems too) on a network, test them to see if they are ready to join Active Directory, and deploy our software and join the Macs to AD.

You can download both our Mac solution and DirectManage Express here:

We've also set up an online community that features video tutorials covering the short installation process, troubleshooting tips and other topics. There's also a forum where you can post comments and questions. We'd love for you to give DirectControl Express and DirectManage a try and then come over to the community to let us know what you think. You can find it here:

Finally, if you'd like a deeper look at our Express program, check out this blog article by our CEO:
