At least for me..

I was having problems to access shared samba service, Computer share was visible on finder, I tried to access with IP , Computer Name, nothing worked...

So I checked console I notice the following....

Code: Select all
4/18/11 8:10:17 PM   com.apple.launchd[1]   (com.apple.smbfs_load_kext[224]) posix_spawn("/System/Library/Extensions/smbfs.kext/Contents/Resources/load_smbfs", ...): Permission denied

so I did

Code: Select all
sudo chmod 0755 load_smbfs

PROBLEM SOLVED!!
