We are a software shop and use mostly MacOS as client and as a fileserver w opendirectory.
We always had issues with opening files with spaces in the filename. Sometimes it works, but not in any recognisable pattern.
To make matters worse, it does not matter if the file is accessed over smb or afp.

The Server is running snow leopard, the clients are mostly on SL, too. Three are already sporting Lion.

It must be something on the server, I think... :|

Has anybody had any simmilar experience? I would appreciate any hints...

[edit]: I forgot to mention that the problem appears (mostly) in Mac:Office...
