We're running Office 2004 and I have a user who began having a problem with her calendar several weeks ago. Whenever she clicks on it in the left-most pane, Entourage drags to a screeching halt, though other OS X apps work. Activity Monitor shows that the Database Daemon is running between 95% to 100% and no further activity in Entourage is possible until I force-quit that daemon and Entourage.

I've tried deleting the Entourage prefs, no luck. I've tried rebuilding her database, with no improvement. I've archived and then deleted the original MUD, followed by re-entering her Entourage setup. All her email and contacts pull down fine, but clicking on the calendar again grinds Entourage to a halt.

What I find odd is that I was able to turn on SyncServices and have her networked calendar sync'd to iCal---and it all appears there.

Obviously this isn't on the end user's Mac because I can replicate it on any other Mac upon setting up her account fresh.

Any ideas as to what may be causing this and how to resolve it?
