Hi,

Ahead of an upgrade of our AD from 2003 to 2012, as a CYA I've been asked to produce documentation that establishes compatibility of Mac clients.

This has been pretty painful so far, the Apple site is irritatingly silent on the topic. So I'm wondering if anyone knows anything I don't and can point me to any kind of Apple.com link, document, speech transcripts, etc, that mentions OSX clients being able to connect to AD 2012.

I know it's perhaps a bit asinine, but T.I.A anyway  ;)

Apple has some how-to information. For instance:

Mac OS X: Active Directory - Naming considerations when binding

OS X Mountain Lion: Improving mobile user login times for Active Directory .local domains
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5738

How to request a certificate from a Microsoft Certificate Authority using DCE/RPC and the Active Directory Certificate profile payload
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5357

This is a link to a search of Apple tech support site for "Active Directory."
