Newly built Mac with OSX 10.6 on board, all updates up to date.

I have one Mac that I have just rebuilt, I created new AD account for a user called Lynn Hall emea\halll but cannot log in to the newly built mac.

I can log in with this username to my own Mac and logon to a Windows XP VM with this ID.

On the problem Mac I was able to log on with two other AD accounts (and it created the mobile account, folders etc) I then created a new AD account called emea\hallly and was able to log in first time on the newly built mac. I tried the emea\halll creds and it still doesn’t work on the problem computer.

I would have said it was AD binding issues except that it all seems OK with other accounts just this one particular account won't work on this one machine.

Any thoughts gratefully received as this is Uber-Urgent
