I have recently bought mac book pro retina 15 and I have installed win 7 pro via bootcamp and then upgraded to win 8 pro. After the upgrade my windows 8 is doing strange things, most of the time it the mouse cursor freezes (mouse circle appears) and after 1 or 2 minutes it is ready. This keeps happening on any app like internet explorer or chrome after repeated intervals, even sometimes when I click on my documents or C drive the windows freezes for a minute or so and then comes back ....I have searched on google but couldn't find anything. I tehn removed windows and restored partition to mac and then re installed win 7 and then upgraded to win 8 pro but the same result !!! ... I don't know y it is slow in response to windows 8 pro. I have checked CPU and RAM performance from Task Manager and its absolutely fine (CPU usage is 3% and RAM is 29%) ... can anyone recommend the solution? is is something to do with the power settings or something ??
