Paragon CampTune X instantly resizes Boot Camp Windows partitions

Paragon Software has released CampTune X 10.2 (US $20), OS X software that can change the size of Windows Boot Camp and Mac disk partitions without formatting or erasing data. Version 10.2 adds support for Boot Camp partitions with Windows 8 installed.

Ordinarily, changing the size of a Boot Camp partition requires you to delete the Boot Camp partition (and the Windows OS and data along with it), recreate it using the Boot Camp Assistant, and then restore the Windows OS, applications, and data from a backup. CampTune X can adjust the size of a partition in a matter of minutes, according to Paragon, moving free disk space between Mac and Windows partitions without deleting the data or the partition. It doesn't even require a reboot of the Mac.

CampTune X 10.2 runs in Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) through OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion). The current version does not work with the Fusion drive (HDD+SDD) feature that comes with some new Mac models.
