Centrify has released Centrify Express 2012, a new build of the free version of the company's solution for integrating Macs and Linux/Unix with Active Directory. The new version adds enhancements to the components, including the following:

• DirectManage Express 2012 is Centrify's central management administration tool that automates the discovery of systems and assesses their readiness to join Active Directory. The new version adds the ability to update and upgrade to the latest release of Centrify Express or full Centrify Suite.
• The Centrify Insight 1.1 reporting tool update adds the ability to monitor and report on Unix and Linux user login activity for Active Directory and local users including success/fail login events and login method used (switched user, SSH, telnet).
• DirectControl Express 2012 adds support for HP-UX 11.31, AIX 7.1 and more than 25 other updated Unix or Linux versions. Using Centrify's CloudTools, automated Active Directory join capabilities continue in DirectControl Express 2012 to enable deployment of DirectControl Express in the cloud.

Centrify Express 2012 provides tools for Active Directory authentication, single sign-on, remote access, file-sharing and reporting for Mac OS X and over 250 flavors of UNIX and Linux. The company's full-featured products include Centrify Suite for Mac OS X.
